Zoli Mamzel, the Creole song which means “Jolie Mademoiselle” (Pretty Lady) was written and performed by Mauritian artist Gary Victor that managed to become a huge summer hit that everybody on the island sang-along to. This song has been in his mind since he was 15 and after 5 years, 20 year old Gary decided to propose to his then girlfriend in a contest organized Phoenix Beverages in 2013 with this song, that led to its instant success. Perhaps it’s his adorable voice and the addictive flow which enables you to express instant happiness as it captivates the magic of the island.
